A variety of products are applied topically to the skin intended to enhance the beauty and health of the skin. Cosmetics are inert substances which enhance as well as clean the appearance of the skin. They do not show any therapeutic effect. Cosmeceuticals are also cosmetic products, containing biologically active principles or ingredients of either plant origin or combinative products of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Apart from these natural products even several drugs are used topically on skin.

    - Temperature fluctuations

    - Honey is the natural product which improves skin, enhancing skin beauty and health.

    - Aloe gel has anti wrinkle properties and used as skin protective cosmetic.

    - Sunscreens are the substances which protect the skin from harmful effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight.
